Why I Built Circuit
I've always loved running, and I've always loved the idea of exploring a new place on foot. A few of my favorite creators have said the same thing: the best way to actually see a city is to run through it. You notice things you'd drive right past, you're out in the open air, and you get to wander without much of a plan.
That's most of why I built Circuit. I wanted to land somewhere new, open the app, and go, instead of googling where to run in a city I'd never been to or spending twenty minutes stitching together a route myself.
I grew up loving Pokémon, and I've always been drawn to collecting things. A run shows you a place, but it doesn't leave you with anything afterward. So Circuit is built explore first, collect second. The run always comes first, and every place you pass along the way gets saved into your own journal.
